Just a few months before its 30th anniversary, RP Industries SA has been awarded PME Líder 2023 status for the 16th time, based on its levels of solidity and economic and financial performance.
In this edition, RPI once again stands out in a universe of companies that have a turnover of more than 54 billion euros, exports of 10 billion euros and are responsible for more than 372,000 jobs, with Braga being the headquarters of 10.3% of these Leader companies.
The PME Líder status is a seal of reputation created by IAPMEI to recognise the merit of national SMEs with superior economic and financial performance. It is awarded on the basis of the best ratings and economic and financial indicators.
In addition to this recognition, RPI is also renewing its quality seals from APCER certifications, which carries out the activity of certifying management systems in accordance with accreditation standards and applicable international guides.
And it is with all this recognition that RP Industries continues to work in national and international markets, in a sustainable and balanced way, always with a focus on improvement and growth.
This year, RP Industries also received the Punctual Payment Commitment certification, which promotes the culture of payment on time and enhances the competitiveness of the portuguese economy.
In Portugal, it is estimated that 84% of Portuguese companies do not meet their payment deadlines. A principle that seems basic in the life of companies, but that ends up becoming a serious threat to their survival, of which RP Industries does not want to contribute or be part of.
